What’s in the bottle
- 238 mg vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) per 5 mL serve, 200 serves per bottle
- Sunflower lecithin, 294 mg per serve: the fat that carries the vitamin C, and no soy
- Water and a splash of vodka as the preservative, about 1.8% alcohol by volume
- Bottled in 1 litre opaque HDPE with a tamper-evident cap, because vitamin C does not like light
How to take it
Shake well. Take 5 mL, one teaspoon, once a day, on its own or in a little water, or as directed by your healthcare professional. Refrigerate after opening and use within 30 days. Natural settling is normal; a shake brings it back together.
Keep out of reach of children. Not recommended for children under 12, or during pregnancy or breastfeeding, without medical advice. Vitamins can only be of assistance if dietary intake is inadequate. If symptoms persist, talk to your health professional.

What the research says
Vitamin C is an essential nutrient with established roles in collagen formation, antioxidant defence, iron absorption and immune cell function, and the liposomal form has randomised-trial evidence of absorbing better than plain ascorbic acid. There is also a body of research on very high intravenous doses, including in cancer, that gets talked about a lot and deserves an honest explanation of what it does and does not show.
