What it protects against

How to use it
Use them like any earphones — plug the 3.5 mm jack into your phone (add a Lightning adapter for iPhone/iPad). A small clip holds them at the right height, and a spare pair of membranes is included. Tip: don’t leave them plugged into a laptop stored in a bag, as this strains the jack.
Coverage
The speaker sits in a small acoustic chamber a safe distance from your head; sound travels the last stretch as vibration through a hollow air tube. From the jack up, the 1.26 m cable is shielded in pure copper so EMFs can’t run along it.
